T Bailey

T. Bailey Equity Income Fund

In a nutshell, this is a UK equity orientated fund with an income target.  It has the ability to allocate a proportion of its assets to other areas to seek additional growth and although it is primarily UK based, it also benefits from the relevant sections of our Investment Process, such as fund selection.

The T. Bailey Equity Income Fund is not lacking in ambition. Its intention is to give a yield of at least 110% of that of the FTSE All-Share Index, as well as outperforming it on a total return basis.

It invests typically: 1) at least 80% in UK Equity Income funds; and 2) not more than 20% in other assets, including cash, securities or collective investment schemes that aren’t focused on UK equity income. Such satellite holdings are intended to boost the yield and/or protect the capital value of the fund.

The fund is run as an Authorised Unit Trust that allows us to make changes without incurring capital gains tax. The fund has two unit classes: 1) retail units, for individual investors; and 2) institutional units, for institutions and larger investors.  You can also buy income or accumulation units, depending on your income or capital growth requirements.

The fund is also eligible for ISA investments/transfers. Units are also available as part of a regular savers scheme.
